A day-trip to visit the highlights of the beautiful city of Florence

TOUR DESCRIPTION:

For this walking tour, we recommend going to Florence by train and your private guide will meet you at the Florence railway station. As an alternative, we can provide a private car with driver. 


After meeting your guide, you will start the tour with a visit to the Accademia Gallery, where you will see one of the most famous masterpieces in the world, the Michelangelo's David. For this visit, we will make reservations in advance in order to avoid the long queue.

You will then visit the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral (the Duomo, above), with the famous Brunelleschi Dome, the Baptistery and the Giotto Bell Tower.

After seeing Piazza Repubblica, there will be time for a lunch break.

The afternoon begins with a walk through Piazza della Signoria, taking a look at the Palazzo Vecchio and the statues in the Loggia dei Lanzi, and then going to Ponte Vecchio (below), the most ancient and famous bridge of Florence.


Finally the tour will remember some of Florence's famous sons, with a walk through the very characteristic neighborood of Dante, the author of the Divine Comedy and Piazza San Firenze, and a visit to Santa Croce church, which houses the tomb of Michelangelo.

Billing information

Tour costs €60/hour for party of max 8 people; €10.00 per each additional person in your party and up to 15 people. For larger parties we will send you a quote per person, depending on the total number of participants.
  • Our rates do not include: transportation (if requested), food and beverage, gratuities, 4% credit card commission, entrance tickets to museums and monuments unless otherwise noted on the programs.
  • Cost of transportation (if transportation is requested) depends on the total number of people in your party as we will choose the size of the vehicle according with the total  number of passengers
  • Our rates include: Guide service, Italian Taxes 10% IVA (VAT - Value Added Tax)
