The Vatican is a must see for every visitor coming to Rome: the city of Vatican is the Holy See where the Head of the Catholic church resides, is the smallest State in the world, has the biggest church and one of the largest museums in the world. The itinerary of this walking tour will be the following:

Vatican Museums: highlights of the collection. Among the treasures that you will see are the famous sculpture of the Laocoon, and the Raphael Rooms (part of the private apartments of Pope Julius II)






The Sistine Chapel, frescoed by Michelangelo and thought to be the largest body of painting executed solely by one artist, considered the greatest masterpiece of Western art

St. Peter's Basilica, where you will enter the heart of Catholicism. This vast and awe-inspiring church is rich in decoration, history, and magnificent art. Among its many treasures is the moving Pietà by Michelangelo

Billing information

Tour costs €70/hour for party of max 8 people; €10.00 per each additional person in your party and up to 15 people. For larger parties we will send you a quote per person and depending on the total number of participants.

The Creation of Adam is a section of Michelangelo's fresco on the Sistine Chapel's ceiling painted painted circa 1511. It illustrates the Biblical story from the Book of Genesis in which God the Father breathes life into Adam, the first man. Chronologically the fourth in the series of panels depicting episodes from Genesis on the Sistine ceiling, it was among the last to be completed.
